Tropical Sangria - Rock It - BWF

Welcome to another edition of Blog With Friends! This month's theme? Rock it.
Rock it? Like rock out with some 1980's big hair rock 'n roll?
Rock it like in a boat?
Rock it like you killed it? Meaning nailed it. Meaning did FANtastic?
Rock it like the rocks we paint and hide to encourage and uplift others?
Rock it? I think is pretty open to whatever you want it to mean.

So we rocked out with some tropical sangria. (this was before I got sick because I can no longer drink) But it was good and I'm not a wine drinker at all. Time to "rock it" with an adult beverage and chill one last time before summers end.

This was beyond simple.

1 bottle of wine, your choice
I used a California moscoto white
1 bottle of mango juice
2 cups pineapple juice
1 cup strawberries quartered
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup mandarin orange slices
Mix well and allow to sit in the fridge and chill. You can pour the juice and fruit into a container and freeze then add the chunks to the wine in glasses, I did and it kept the drink cold longer without watering it down.
Be sure to see what everyone else's interpretation of "rock it" looks like.

  1. Whoa, this sounds like something super delicious and also dangerous. You sit there, underneath an umbrella, sipping, talking, laughing, sipping some more, and by the time you get up... wait a minute, why am I feeling dizzy???

  2. I've made Sangria before but never thought of a tropical one. I would LOVE this, trying it for sure.

    1. Like Tamara said, it can be dangerous. I'm not a wine drinker but enjoyed it and we drank it all. ALL

  3. Stop in from baking in Torando. Yes that look simple. If you have time stop in for a cup of coffee
