FOTW September

Sorry I missed August but from July 30th through August 27th I was in and out of the hospital.

Welcome to a Fly on the Wall group post. Today 4 bloggers are inviting you to catch a glimpse of what you’d see if you were a fly on the wall in our homes. Come on in and buzz around my house.
Buzz around, see what you think, then click on these links for a peek into some other homes:

Just two weeks before going in the first time, my hubby blessed me with a new vehicle. I was still getting used to it when I went to the ER. Here is my beauty, still waiting to recover fully so I can drive.
Our poor little container garden. It did not do well this year and we can't figure out why. Oh well, we did get two cucumbers, 4 bell peppers, dozens of jalapenos and little grape tomatoes.
I normally cut the kitties claws each week, I've done it since they were babies. Well,  being sick the last thing on my mind was kitty claws. Until I came home from the hospital and Lily feels like hypodermics walking across my lap!

My spoiled babies were glad for me to be back home. Not as much as I was and am. The hospital is NO place to rest. They say "sleep and rest" then come in every 3 hours for vitals and to wake me up and say "do you need anything?" good land! BUT they did take very good care of me.
Ms. Lily on top, Sugar my baby bottom left and Beau my big love bug bottom right.

In August my youngest son and his family transferred to their new duty station. Now they are only 6 hours away!! I'm so excited. Hoping that means MORE grandbaby time!
** Surprise! They came to see me Sept 7-9! It was marvelous!!

So my husband, bless him, has had to cook and clean on top of holding down a job AND caring for me since the end of July. Bless him. It has taken its toll.
We sit down to breakfast and I'm thinking, huh? There's a jar of pickle relish sitting there. I said "Honey, why is there pickle relish on the table?"
He walks over and says "SHOOT I saw the purple lid and thought it was grape jelly."
We had a good laugh. I said "You know this will end up on Fly..."he said "yeah yeah." LOL

Watching jeopardy one night and I said "why aren’t you answering the questions?"
He replied ,"I was watching black head removal videos."
I turned and said "are you serious?"
He said, "uh huh". SMH
