3 Musketeers Fudgy Brownies

I am sure that when you saw the name, you immediately thought of the candy bar, or the old movie. Neither one applies but the movie theme or idea does.

You see, I have two very special blog friends and we are "The Three Musketeers" when it comes to blogging. We stick together, support one another, guest host and refer our readers to each other.

They are more than just "other bloggers", they are my friends. We Skype  we email, we talk like normal friends. Sharing one another's burdens, successes and disappointments. We live in different states and on different sides of the US but that does not hinder our friendship or supporting each other.

So in honor of them, I created this recipe. It contains things that each of us enjoy. "All for one and one for all".

You know the part that is me, the chocolate! For Jutta, she says that if you put sugar on it, anything is a dessert. So she is the sugar and coffee. Cynthia is the cinnamon

Ladies, I am enjoying them for all of us.

The batter just look how dark and rich it is!

3 Musketeers Fudgy Brownies
3/4 cup butter, melted
1 1/4 cup sugar
3/4 flour
3/4 cup dark chocolate baking cocoa
3/4 tsp baking powder
3 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips, mini
2 tsp cinnamon
1 TBSP coffee crystals or espresso powder

Grease a 9x9 pan and set it aside. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Melt your butter either in a double boiler or the microwave whichever you prefer.
Mix your dry ingredients well. Beat eggs and add to the dry, slowly add the butter after it has cooled off.
Lastly fold in the mini chips.
Bake for 25 minutes.
