Dark Chocolate Fudgey Pecan Brownies

My poor husband, I have spoiled him and two days in a row we had no dessert. I swear he almost pouted. So to make up for it, I made him one of his favorite things. A fudgey brownie..but with a little extra something.
These turn out moist and chewing inside with a light krispie top and edges, the best!

Dark Chocolate Fudgey Pecan Brownies
3/4 cup dark chocolate chips
1 stick butter
3/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
2 eggs, room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 TBSP espresso coffee
mini chocolate chips (enough to sprinkle over the top)

In a medium sauce pan, melt the chocolate chips and butter. Stir in the sugar and remove from the heat. Allow to cool and stir in the eggs. Next add the remaining ingredients.
Pour into a greased 8 x 8 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
