Chocolate Pumpkin Cinnamon Swirl Cupcakes:Fall or Autumn, What do we call ya? : Poem

Fall or Autumn
Which one do we call ya?
Fall for falling leaves
Falling temperatures
and falling back an hour.
Crisp mornings,
coffee steaming,
fuzzy slippers,
sweater weather.
Sunsets early,
sunrise later.
Walking on crispy leaves,
seeing the vibrant color changes,
pulling out the hoodies, sweaters and gloves.
Buying new boots, hats and scarves.
Time for baking and crock pot cooking.
Soup, stews and cakes.
Snuggling up in front of a fire.
roasting marshmallows,
making s'mores.
New memories to make.
Sleeping with the covers pulled up,
waking to a nip in the air,
gone are the hot humid days of summer
for a respite from the heat.
Frosted over windshields
will greet us each morning.
Dew to frost on the ground.
Seeing our breath in the air
and feeling the cold snap nip our noses
be careful to warm those toes.
Cup of hot coffee in hand
welcome the cool with a grand gesture.
Bye Bye Summer, for now
Hello Fall and welcome!
