Well, looks like I found something else my husband won't eat, spaghetti squash. Nope, he doesn't like it. I have now tried twice and it's a no go for him.
I thought it was good, not fantastic, but good. He said, no thanks. Oh well, you win some you loose some.
Garlic Parmesan Spaghetti
1 spaghetti sauce1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
4 TBSP butter
Cut the squash in half, length wise. Scoop out the seeds. Place the squash on a baking sheet cut side down. Bake the squash for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Allow to cool enough so that you can handle it. Scrap with a fork the insides out. It comes out like spaghetti noodles.
Place the noodles in a skillet with the parm, garlic and butter. Saute until the flavors have had time to meld. About 5 minutes.
I only sauteed 1/2 the squash. The other half I saved to try in another dish. If you saw yesterdays Spicy T soup, that's where I used the other half.

If you had an alter ego, what would their name be? What would be their story and how are they similar/different from you and why?

Hi, My name is Gina Faye and I'm the alter ego of Dawn. Yeah, she is nice, sweet, helpful and a great cook. Oh yes, and frugal.
Me? LOL not so much.
I'm in it for me! What I can get from who I can get it. If it's shiny, expensive and gets attention, then that's for me.
Cook? Oh gosh, cooking is take out or a fancy restaurant.
Frugal? HA it is to laugh! I'm only frugal as far as not wasting my good wine on weak men.
I love to shop, Dawn does not. I'm fit, gorgeous and flaunt it. Shake what yo' momma took 9 months to bake Baabbaaee oh yeah
Sit home, cook, clean and take care of kids? NO FREAKIN' WAY! That's her gig, mine is hire someone and spend the day at the spa spending his money!
Who is "his", whoever is Mr. Right this week.
He needs to be cool, rich, suave, sexy, flashy, rich, loves to spend on me, and rich. Did I say rich?
Where did I come from? LA baby. Not NC that's for sure. I'm big time, she's small town.
I could go on but I might scare you away from this little goodie goodies blog. So stay awhile and she what she's cooking. She's amazing and it P's me off, no one is this good. ugh...well anyway, peace out!
THIS is how I imagine I would have been had I been born rich or not found Jesus. Seriously, I was a selfish kid. Thank God I'm not today. I am all about my friends, family and helping others. Gina Faye is who I think alot of us think we want to be, but are thankful we aren't. Because she is also a lonely woman who will be bitter one day.
